iPoll is one of the biggest and by far most popular cash paying market research sites with millions of members all around the world. They are part of the United Sample network who launched over 5 years ago back in 2008. The site was originally called Surveyhead but relaunched and rebranded as iPoll in 2012. They launched a new smartphone app in 2013 which allows you to earn additional rewards through surveys, polls and missions whilst on the move. (More about this later)

Getting Started With iPoll: The registration is no different to any other survey site. Simply enter your details and press the sign up button. Ensure you confirm your email address before logging into your account. (My iPoll confirmation ended up in Spam so it’s a good idea to check there if you can’t find it) As soon as you are registered $5 (£3.50 ish) will be added straight into your account to get you going. Upon logging into your account for the first time you will have the option to take numerous surveys to get your account balance up. Some of these will be real surveys and some will route you through to join other affiliated market research sites. However they all count and it shouldn’t be long before you have made your first $10. (£7) You can check your account at any time to see what paid surveys are available or alternatively you can just wait for them to land in your email inbox.

As with all survey sites make sure you fill your profile information in, in full as this will help you receive as many surveys as possible. It’s also best to keep a close eye on your email account so you don’t miss out on the higher paying surveys. ($10+)

The App: The app was launched in 2013 and is a great addition to the site. You can download the app for IOS or Android from the App Store or Play Store. Once you have installed it on your phone you can log straight into your account using your website login information.

The app allows you to take surveys, polls and missions whilst you are out and about. Some of the missions that you may be asked to participate in could be to check in, take a photo, record a video or scan a barcode whilst you are in a supermarket or other shop. For completing the mission that is asked of you, you will receive a reward straight into your account of between $5 (3.50) – $20 (£14) for longer ones and as low as $0.05 for quick and easy ones. The great thing about the app is that it uses your personal interests to send you missions that will be of interest to you. (Another reason to complete the profile information) Having a more targeted approach definitely works out much better.

As well as completing missions you can also press the bank button on the app to check your pending transactions and available balance from the last 90 days.

Cashing Out: At iPoll they don’t use complicated points or rewards systems, any money you earn is added straight into your account as a cash value. This makes it very easy to check on your balance at any given time. Once you have earned $35 (Around £25) you can claim your money by logging into your account. Once you have claimed it, it is sent directly to your Paypal account within 3 – 4 weeks. This does seem like quite a wait but it is pretty much the industry standard. (You can also choose gift vouchers for loads of different shops if you want them instead)

Age / Country Requirements: You must be 13 or above to join. Under 18’s must get parental / guardians permission. It seems from the registration form that they accept people living in most countries from around the world.

From our own experiences with the iPoll site and app we would highly recommended it as an excellent site to help bump up your paid survey earnings. Don’t forget to download the app as not only will it help you earn a little extra money but it can also be pretty good fun.

Some of them require a ” one time ” fee just to join. You get a 1$ bonus upon completing your membership.
Keep in mind the important points about paid surveys so to
limit the mistakes you make in this work.
